There are multiple options for replacing missing teeth. Let’s start with the least expensive.
There is an insert called a Flipper, which is a removable option to replace one to two teeth.
The next option, if you have more than two teeth missing, is a removable partial denture where you take that out at night. There are different varieties of that product; some are cast metal, some are flexi-partials and some just made of simple acrylic.
The other two options for replacing teeth are fixed options. First is a bridge where we use your existing teeth to hold the bridge – kind of like anchors for the bridge. Or, we can place a dummy tooth made out of porcelain with metal underneath fused with gold.
The last fixed option is an implant. It is the most natural solution. We do not touch any of your natural teeth and use a nickel titanium implant body, which replaces the root into your jaw. Then we build the tooth which is made of porcelain and matches the color of your existing teeth.
